Attaching pages to your books

This is just one of many ways to attach your pages to a spine rather than a ring or spiral.
Give it a try!

Cut 1 piece from Kraft paper 3 ½” x 8” and score at ½” and 3” Place scor tape as shown.
Cut 1 piece 2 1/2” x 8” and score at ½” and 2”. Place tape as shown.
Cut 1 piece 1 ½” x 8” and score at ½” and 1”. Place tape as shown.
Turn each piece over and place scor tape as shown in the next photo.

Turn each piece over and place scor tape as shown in the next photo.

Remove the backing off the tape in the
Middle only of the two smaller hinges.
Stack the hinges one inside the other evenly adhering each onto the next as shown here.

Evenly place them in the center of the spine.
Once you are satisfied that they are evenly spaced from all the edges of the spine remove the tape backing from the center area of the bottom hinge and secure in place.

Open the bottom of your pocket and slide the opening over the last hinge on your books spine. Once you have the pocket centered on the hinge where you like it, remove the Scor tape backing from the hinge and adhere to the inside of the pocket.

This is the way I attached my pages in the baby book tutorial on my Etsy site. You will need to change my measurements and spacing to yours for the book you are working on. Hope this helps =)
